Luxury Cuffs

My girlfriend purchased these beautiful Coco de Mer cuffs as a short while ago and we have been struggling to put together a review simply because we cannot find the words to express how good they really are. As a couple who are extremely passionate about sensory bondage, these cuffs ticked all the boxes and we would recommend them to anyone who had an interest in luxury bondage products. Though it is impossible to deny they are are a little bit on the pricy side, we really believe that they are worth every single penny, and their high quality and luxury feel has enhanced our sex life far more than any 'basics' product could. The cuffs arrived in the standard ordinary ambiguous Lovehoney brown cardboard box so that no-one would have any idea what was inside, and were presented in their own thick natural cotton storage bag, with a subtle and tasteful Coco de Mer logo on the bottom. The cuffs are truly a work of art, and are made from the most beautiful premium standard brown leather. As soon as me and my partner opened the box we were in heaven; the smell is phenomenal and an instant turn-on, and we instantly knew the incredible quality of the product that we were purchasing. The cuffs are a deep tanned brown leather, contrasted by neat black stitching around the outside and is complimented by some bulky gold coloured brass buckles, a gold ring, and a short brown fastening strap with a gold clip on either end. Everything about the appearance of the cuffs screams luxury and we would recommend them to anyone in terms of how they look. As mentioned by another reviewer, the wrist cuffs are 2.5 inches wide across the padded area, and 11.25 inches in padded length. The brown leather strap mentioned above is 14.5 inches in length and has 8 holes to allow a snug perfect fit for the submissive, to make sure that they can't wiggle out. We found that this allowed for slightly more movement than we would like, so we double looped the fastening strap through the gold rings to minimise the hand movement. The padding on the cuffs is wonderfully comfortable, causing absolutely no chafing like some other cuffs which is exactly what we wanted. However, if you were hoping for some 'grittier' bondage items which leaves marks after use these may not be the restraints for you. In use, we found that no amount of pulling or struggling would let you break free if the straps are done up tight enough, and the high quality appearance and feel of these cuffs really added to the enjoyment which we got out of bondage play.

After recieving the Coco de Mer ancle cuffs as a tester some time ago, I have been trying hard to complete my set of matching bondage gear. So after the blindfold and mini flogger the wrist cuffs were next on my list of purchases. The Coco de Mer wrist cuffs (in L/XL) are presented in their own thick natural cotton storage bag, with just the subtle Coco de Mer logo on the bottom. Inside these leather luxuries are waiting to be put to work. They are made from the most sumptuous leather that smells divine. I really love the smell of leather and find it quite a turn-on. The deep brown leather is complimented with gold coloured brass fittings. These wrist cuffs are 2.5 inches wide across the padded area, and 11.25 inches in padded length. The fastening strap is 14.5 inches in length and has 8 holes to allow a perfect fit for the wearer. The padding is almost 0.5 inches in thickness, making for the most comfortable cushioned restraint you could ever wish for. The fastenings are very sturdy, and no amount of pulling or wriggling will let you escape from these cuffs. The connecting strap is very good, and having both the wrist and ankle cuffs I have 2 of these straps, which enables a wide range of positional play. My OH even fastened right ankle to left wrist and left ankle to right wrist, almost like a hogtie. I chose the L/XL size of wrist cuff as both myself and my OH are larger people, but rather than a one size fits all, Coco de Mer make a smaller size in cuffs too. So regardless of your size you too can be restrained in luxury. These wrist cuffs are perfect, expensive yes, but they are an item for life. If you like luxury as well as bondage restraint then these are for you. I absolutely adore them.

Luxurious, gorgeous, stunning, strong... I'm not describing myself, these are the adjectives that come to mind when thinking of the best way to describe the Coco de Mer brown leather wrist cuffs. My partner has broken a few pairs of handcuffs in our time together, so when choosing a pair I always hope they're strong. In fact, I'd taken to just using rope, which I love, but it's just not the same. These wrist cuffs are strong! And with the extra padding they are so comfortable. They can be worn for a long time without causing pain, discomfort or distress. I can't recommend them enough. The leather is so soft, the brass is a beautiful contrast, that reminds me of equestrian equipment. The quality is undeniable. I searched every mm of these cuffs looking for faults and I couldn't find one. Even the stitching is faultless. These are just stunning and I'm sure they'll last a very long time. Plus they are very strong!! I chose the L/XL ones as I am quite a chunky chick, and my fella is not a little man, but I still needed to do them up on the tightest notch, which fits perfectly. If you're going to purchase these, and I recommend you do, make sure you measure your wrists to ensure the correct size. One fabulous bonus of getting this size, if they fit your wrists, is that they can be used on my ankles too. All I need now is the rest of the collection!
