Potent chemical/plastic smell

Size shape and feel are perfect. It’s soft to the touch, just the right amount of flex and it looks as though it will be good fun; However, 3 days out of packaging, left to soak in soapy water and gave it a good scrub, but it still wreaks of chemically plastic.

Bought this as it looked pretty and interesting, Come well packaged however once opened couldn’t help but notice a nasty smell, I gave it a wash however it still smells, I havnt used it and don’t fancy using it, if I hadn’t thrown packaging away I’d have sent back.

It looks perfect to play with - feels soft and is a great size with an awesome colour but oh my gosh, the smell is awful!!!! The item is made in China so it unfortunately has a VERY strong gasoline smell that they often use to fumigate/strengthen plasticy rubber items... 100% overpowering. I will try vinegar for a few days to remove the smell but if that doesn't help, it will only be going in the bin
