After I opened the packaging you do get a slight smell it is only from the material it is made from. After a few washes, it will go away. Received this a few days ago in usual Lovehoney discreet brown box, unfortunately still arrived in the plastic packaging shown in the photos which should be a no go. The item smells awful and still there after a few days even after getting washed multiple times. This is my only problem with this item. Would not recommend for beginners as the thickness is surprising even after comparing to toys I have (I was aware of this info before purchasing, so knew what I was getting). Waiting for the OH to want the bigger one next.
