Great but not for us.

Very cool design. However a combation of the pretty strong pressure and the rubber nibs that have rather sharp bumps on them. Meant that these were just too much for us. I dont consider us newbies in this area either but these are for pretty high level users

Nicely weighted so quality feels just as great as it looks. Definitely a big step up from the beginners ones, so wouldn't recommend for beginners but if your more advanced would recommend

Simple and lightweight but potent

As previous reviewers have stated this design of clamp takes no prisoners or rather it will make the wearer a prisoner. To someone unaccustomed to clamps the initial grab of these clamps can make your eyes water but perservere, the sensation dulls quite quickly only to be deliciously renewed if the clamps or chain are pulled. The hard rubber pads on the tips of the clamps are studded so they are very tenacious and could well do damage if pulled off by force.

Not for the faint-hearted...
