Powerful and unintimidating

As a relative newbie to anal play having had a bit of experience with some smaller plugs and beads, I was looking for something to ramp up the ante somewhat, but without leaping to anything huge or too daunting. The black colour of the toys gives them a classier look - no cheap fluorescent pink here! The silicone has a soft but firm feel - perfect! A little lube and both slipped in with ease. Bought this for both of us to enjoy, and enjoy we do. Perfect size for beginners and intermediates alike. Perfect for beginners to anal play

This comes in three parts: an anal plug, a beaded anal plug and a vibrating bullet. Each plug has a ring at the end for the bullet to fit into, which provides extra stimulation. The bullet is a standard size, and if you have another more powerful bullet chances are it would fit. To be honest, these plugs are really versatile and have a nice soft feel. So I went back to my wishlist, and the only similar in-stock product at a similar price was this, the Booty Call Powerful Anal Vibrator Kit. What a misleading title. Kudos to Lovehoney for speedy discreet delivery as always. The kit arrived in a cardboard box with info on the side and a message from the (female) founder (always nice to see). Inside was an instruction leaflet and a plastic bag containing the remote connected to the vibrating egg-shaped bullet on a cord (almost identical to the Lovehoney Vibrating Love Egg) and the 2 black plugs, slimline and beaded. Pretty straightforward, nothing fancy. When playtime rolled around, I cleaned everything, put the batteries in the remote and popped the egg through the plug hoops. I played around with the settings on the remote with the beaded plug in my hand; the vibrations varied from mild to less mild, and I figured I might well enjoy that sensation out the back. I warmed up my derriere with some other toys, and after applying a decent amount of water-based lube, it was time for the beaded plug. I had the vibrations turned off for insertion as I didn't want to scare my arse, but I needn't have worried. Once I had all 4 beads in, I pushed the slider on the remote from low... to halfway... then all the way up to high, and I did not feel much, if any, vibration at all. I touched the hoop which was really buzzing as it was right next to the egg, but those vibrations were not pulsing through the beads as I expected them to. It was all very underwhelming. I thought about removing the beads and just using the egg back there, as it was attached to the cord for safe retrieval, but the box and instructions advised against this. I ended up taking it out and using something else instead which was miles better (Rocks Off Ass-Berry, but more on that in another review!) I decided to make a claim under the Sex Toy Happiness Promise, and was refunded very promptly, so kudos to the brilliant Customer Services team. It was also mentioned that if there was something in particular I didn't enjoy about the toy and would like any assistance on finding something more suitable, I should get in touch again, which I did, and was sent me some excellent recommendations based on my requirements, which was very helpful. Kudos to Sophie and Fern! Admittedly what I disliked about the kit was that it was very tame and it didn't do anything for me.
