Everyone loves to accessorize lingerie to bring attention to their best features. Some nipple clamps to accentuate your bust, High heels (the kind that did into your partners shoulders during sex :P) to lengthen your legs, even handcuffs to draw you're partners attention to your petite, slender hands ... Though I do like these parts of my body, I do love to emphasize my eyes, and what best way to do that, than with a mask. Once the mask arrived I was ecstatic to find that the product was one from the 'Seven till midnight' range, as I'm a huge fan of their gorgeous well made lingerie, so expected the same quality from the mask. The Lace mask comes in basic packaging, seethrough platic to see through to the product inside which is wrapped around a piece of carboard to keep its shape and a label above which provides a picture and a description that the mask is black and 'one size'. Now , personally the picture put me off a little. The model has blonde hair and is rather fair in skin colour therefore the mask just looked very severe against her complexion. Being a similar skin tone, (though a brunette) I was unsure if this mask would end up looking more Halloween than seductive and sexy. Other than that my worries were minimal. Upon opening the packaging I wasn't surprised by the quality of the material. The lace is a very thick strong material and the mask is made up of a gorgeous design of pattern work including a floral design. The mask on its own is around 28cm in length. The tie at the back, again is made of very strong black ribbon that doesn't and probably won't fray at the ends, both sides are securely stitched in place and each piece of ribbon measures around 45cm in length. The one problem I can say, is the ribbon creases very easily and due to the slightly insignificant packaging that can be easily thrown away, unless you like to keep items folded and neat, the creases will stay. The masks width fits in the middle of my forehead and covers my nose (not unsafely) and the ribbon starts just behind my ears, so it's a very good fit. Trying this mask on, you will notice there is a circular pattern just below the flower print in the centre. Now from the picture, that circular pattern, has been shown to go over the nose. However, to be quiet honest its up to you which way you'd like to wear it, though there a subtle indictors, such as the way the eyes slant that may help you decide which way round to place the mask. What I found when putting the mask on, is that due to the flimsy material, it kept catching my eyes as I was putting it into place, and once in place it could be a little uncomfortable (depending on how tight you put it on) as my eyelashes kept being irritated seen as the eyes holes are quite narrow and for someone with long lashes, it can be annoying. Though as I said, that is dependant upon how tight you decide to put it. The looser the mask the more freedom for your eyes. I was actually a little worried that the material, being strong and thick, would be rough on my skin or maybe scratching my skin, yet because of the good quality, there weren't any excess pieces of material or thread available to irritate my skin with. Looking at my reflection, I was a little dubious. The floral pattern work makes the mask feminine though the black is very harsh and quite severe as I expected. Fortunately, for those into a little dominatrix who would like to have a change from latex and leather, this is perfect! I do like this mask and It does make my eyes stand out, in fact they look very dark and sinister-like however I do wear quite harsh black eyeliner around my eyes in the first place so that will provide some of the severity seen when I wear the mask. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a delicate style mask. I think It's missing a few well placed sequins and such, if you'd like to make it that bit softer. If your happy to do so then go ahead, as its great quality and could probably withstand some minor modifications. To some this piece up. Its an acquired, unique taste but I can't really fault the product itself! (Having had the lucky opportunity to test this product, I am unaware of the cost which Is why I give this product a 5/10 though I'm sure it's worth the money with this quality)
