Not one-size queen

Very disappointed in this item,I really should of read the reviews before purchasing.. I am a curvy size 20 and this was going no where over my body.. Unable to return due to removing the tags as the thong as attached it them all. It definitely isn't 18-24 more 16-18

A nice set with a couple of issues

This is my second set of lingerie that came with cuffs and although they’re not going to satisfy you if you’re into being restrained they add a bit of submissive fun. The chemise set arrived in the normal excellent discreet packaging and upon opening the box the item was housed in a seven ‘til midnight branded cardboard box, which reminded me of the old days in BHS where some lingerie or hosiery items were in this style of packaging! On the front is a picture of a lady wearing the item, and on the reverse is a picture of the same lady from the back, below this is a small window to let you have a sneak peak at the material but it doesn’t really work as the item is folded. Opening the box is as easy as removing two small pieces of tape and then the chemise slides out attached to a piece of cardboard with 2 small plastic clips. The chemise itself is a beautiful lace pattern and features underwired cups and long ribbing down the front which isn’t firm so is just for detailing. The back features a corset style design but instead of having to feed through lots of lace these are elasticated and it does up with a normal bra style clip. The shoulder straps are adjustable and it’s finished with matching suspender straps which are easily removable. The g-string features the same lace pattern and are crotchless and the cuffs match and are joined with some black elastic. Overall the material is good quality and the finish looks good. Getting the chemise on was easy enough and I adjusted the shoulder straps so the cups were comfortable. I’m a size 18-20 and it fitted nicely generally. My breasts only just fitted in the cups and bulged slightly at the top, I’m a 38C so I’m not sure these would be great for anyone larger in this department. The knickers fitted and were as comfortable as you would expect for such a tiny item! I teamed it with some black lace stockings and the clips were a little fiddly to attach but no more so than any others. Looking in the mirror I liked what I saw, it looked good and I felt sexy and confident. I decided to pop on the cuffs, lay on the bed and call my husband up. He very much liked what he saw and even though the cuffs didn’t really restrain me I played along in a submissive role! After taking the top off I noticed the underwires had dug in a bit and left a red mark, but it wasn’t sore, it just confirmed that the cups on this particular item seem a little on the small side. Overall it’s a nice set but I’ve had better items in the Lovehoney branded range.

My chemise arrived this morning I was really excited to open it by was really disappointed with the sizing I am a size 18-20 and it was a squeeze to get into it would definitely not fit a person who was a 22-24 so disappointing and definitely not suitable for a larger lady

Thanks, Lovehoney, for choosing me to receive this lovely chemise in return for an honest review. It arrived a few days later in the normal plain and easily recycled box. I opened the product box to find a lovely lace chemise along with a matching G-string and soft lace cuffs. The black lace is soft and doesn't scratch and it has a very flattering lace hem. It also has detachable adjustable suspender straps (always a plus) and the underwired bra is fastened as normal with hooks and eyes so is adjustable for back size. That's about it for adjustability, though. I was quite surprised to realise that this is a step into or pull over chemise that has no other fastening than the adjustable bra strap. The "bones" are there more for decoration than function as they're more a sewn-in decorative stiffening than real boning, but they do give that shapely effect. It was quite a struggle to get into but I must admit that when I looked into the mirror I decided it was worth it! My partner didn't get home for nearly a week after it arrived (long-distance driver) and I wanted his opinion before writing this review. I made sure I'd squeezed into it early enough so I wouldn't look red-faced and sweaty and greeted him as he came out of the shower. Posed like the model, the "phwoar" was exactly the reaction I'd expected as it's a very flattering and sexy item. However, I slowly turned around I had a "whoa!" which I'd also expected as, unfortunately, the bra part of the chemise is very small. My partner quite enjoys a bit of overspill but this chemise gives it in spades. I couldn't get my breasts into the bra so they balanced precariously half in and half atop. I just about managed to cram enough in so my nipples were covered so from the front it does look stunning. From the rear it also looks stunning - did I mention that this is very flattering? The criss-cross straps draw the eye to the centre of the back, down to the pretty G-string (though I wore my own as it was spoiled by being a bit too tight and having very thin straps that dig in). However, the shape of the chemise and the positioning of the suspenders make a delectable frame for my bottom. We both agree I've never worn anything that makes my rear look as good as this does! If your partner is a bum man I'd wholeheartedly recommend this. I'm an 18-20 and wear a 38DD in most brands but I did find this chemise on the tight side. Don't get me wrong, it would look awful if worn too loose, but the bra is particularly small. I don't think someone size 22-24 would fit into this at all - there's not enough give in the lace or rear straps. This is such a lovely and flattering chemise it's a shame the bra cups are too small for it. If the lace had a bit more give it wouldn't be too bad but I wouldn't recommend anyone larger than a D-cup buy it unless they love overspill.

I’m a size 4, 5’10” and 32B. Can’t believe how well this fits me. No cup gaping, so great if you also are small-chested. Adjustable straps and garters, super stretchy and soft lace material. Very good quality for the price and it being a one size fits all. The handcuffs are small but stretchy, they fit me great but I also have tiny wrists. Stockings are cute, one of mine already has some nicks in it but not a big deal. They have elastic up top so they will stay exactly in place.

Loved the look of this item and thought how sexy it would make me feel. I got the size to fit up to size 16 as I’m a size 14 as have in the past and been fine. On trying it on it didn’t fit that well and was snug. Even struggled to then get it back off again. If buying you may want to get a bigger size if you have a good bust as well
