My new favourite toy! Very well made, good weight to the handle, which makes using the flogger very easy (says my partner), and also fantastic for temperature play. Also good length and width. Flogger felt amazing and left some lovely marks on my bottom. Personally I’d say it’s an essential purchase for any kinkster, whether you’re just starting out or experienced. Lots of fun to be had!

This one is for people who liked to be spanked! My OH and I often play with floggers, paddles and canes as well as dildos, so combining the two = my favourite new sex toy! The flogger end has a great sting to it and the swooshing noises that it makes add to the anticipation of it touching your skin. The metal dildo end then also adds a bit of temperature play into the mix as it can be used cold or warmed up. Pure Luxury

I am a huge fan of impact play, so I was very excited when I was asked to test the DOMINIX Deluxe Aluminium Dildo with Leather Flogger in exchange for an honest review. I am lucky enough to own a few items from the DOMINIX range, and I have come to associate their name with excellent quality, and this flogger is no exception. The flogger arrives in understated clear sealed packaging, as do all the DOMINIX products. The quality of this flogger is amazing - this really is a ‘luxury’ item. The metal handle has a lovely weight to it which adds to the luxury feel; the metal is smooth, but has along its length a lovely rippled design, which adds to the sensations - especially as the handle also doubles as a dildo. The leather black tails can be used to create anything from the gentlest caress to a medium sting to a hard thwack. Even stroking the tails across your body can create an erotic experience. Mr Scorpius built up to a very intense level using this flogger which felt so wonderful and deep and had me floating into subspace very quickly. As this flogger is made from leather. I would suggest starting slowly and building up to the more powerful strokes. The thickness, length and number of fronds of a flogger determine if it produces a light stingier feeling or a more intense thudding sensation. This flogger is of the ‘slightly stingy but more depth and thuddy’ variety - and I love it. Mr Scorpius also found that the weight of the handle made using the flogger a dream, as it felt really well balanced during use. The shape of the handle gave it an excellent grip too. I would just mention that the leather does shed quite a bit during use, so maybe shake it out over a bath or use a sticky roller to try to get the worst off before use. I’m sure that this will settle down after a few uses though. I found some type of black residue (probably from the manufacturing process) on the dildo which took a few washes to get off - but this wasn’t an issue, as it did clean up to a beautiful shine. The overall length of the flogger including the handle is 22 inches of with the fronds are 14.5 inches. The dildo handle’s length is 7.5 inches. The aluminium dildo is excellent for temperature play. Before using it, I warmed it under the hot tap taking care not to get the leather wet. I was pleasantly surprised at how long it retained the heat during play - it really felt amazing! You can also chill the dildo in the fridge to explore the opposite sensation too.
