Sliquid Organics Natural Gel - Water-Based Lube | 8.5oz

Very uncomfortable

Created an irritating burning sensation when used on my ass/genitals. I've used Sliquid products before without experiencing this problem, so maybe it's something in the aloe flavor's formula that I'm having a reaction to, or maybe I just got a bad bottle. Still works great as lube, so if you try it and don't have any issues, you'll have a lovely time. Nonetheless, I'll be avoiding this flavor in the future.

Another great Sliquid product

As you can see from the product description, this is an all-natural, organic water-based lube. It's clear/colorless and thicker than the average sex lubricant. When a large droplet is squeezed onto the tip of a dildo, it starts to slowly spread but stays in place long enough for me to set the bottle down and then begin inserting said dildo.

Review Details: I'm a big fan of Sliquid lubes. The first one I tried was Satin, which is marketed as a personal moisturizer, but also works well as a body-safe, non-irritating lubricant for sex or masturbation. It's a bit thin, though, and requires fairly frequent re-application for strap-on sex, so I ordered the Organics Gel. I find that it coats silicone dildos better than Satin, and lasts longer during thrusting, too. Like Satin, it does not irritate my very sensitive vulva and vagina; these are the first lubes I've found that didn't eventually cause a burning or itching sensation. Heaven! They are also absorbed into the skin after playing, so my inner thighs feel soft and smooth rather than sticky.

The label is simple and attractive. The plastic bottle is a little hard to squeeze, so the lube comes out slowly, but at least it makes application more precise. The translucent dark-brown color of the bottle should help keep the product fresh longer as well.

I use Organics Gel both internally for vaginal-penetrative masturbation and sex, and externally with vibrators. This is great stuff, and I am looking forward to trying more body-friendly Sliquid products!

Could Be Thicker but It’s Still Awesome

Sliquid Organics Natural Gel is a clear, moderately thick water based lubricant. It’s not nearly as thick as I think a “gel” should be but it has enough viscosity to stay where you want it. It has no real taste or smell though I still wouldn’t recommend it for oral sex. It’s a lubricant made with quality ingredients and is specifically made with the vagina’s natural environment in mind. Overall, it is an extremely good product.

Review Details: Ok, so let me preface this by saying that I really do love my Sliquid Organics Natural Gel. I actually think that of all the products in the Sliquid line, that I’ve used thus far, it’s my favorite. However, I have to admit that it wasn’t as thick as I expected it to be. It is definitely thicker than the more basic Sliquid Organics Natural, but honestly not by much. I would like something bit denser that isn’t made with anal sex in mind. The level of viscosity this product has thankfully does allow its application to be very deliberate. It’s not simply flowing from the bottle uncontrolled. The thickness allows you to dispense only how much you actually want to use, which is extremely cost effective.

Once on the toy (I use lube primarily with toys), it stays in place pretty well. It does slide a bit but its course is pretty slow. It spreads on the toy really well; however, at that point it thins out quite a bit. Not as much as the original Sliquid Organics Natural but still pretty thin. That is why I wish it was a little bit thicker over all. I like a little more cushioning all along the shaft of the toy. Because it does thin so much, I’ve found that I have to do the same thing I did with the original Sliquid Organics Natural. I coat the toy once and insert it so that the lube gets on the walls of my vagina. I then take the toy back out, coat the toy again, and I’m good to play for a while. Granted, I’m not using a ton of lube in this process. Perhaps a nickel size drop each time. A quarter size max if it’s a toy like Vixskin that devours lube. However, I was hoping to eliminate the need for immediate reapplication with the thicker formula.

In play it does work very well though. It makes everything slick and super comfy. It does its job and does it very well. Plus, because it’s a water based lube, clean-up is a breeze. Wipe yourself off with a wet rag or baby wipe and the lube is gone. It’s quick and super convenient; especially if you're someone like me who usually just wants to go to sleep after.

Now, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this product for oral sex. Although it has no taste, the texture just feels very odd in my mouth. I mean if you don’t have a lube on hand that is designed for oral sex it could work in a pinch. But I personally wouldn’t use it. This is also not a lube I would use for anal sex. I think it is still too thin to protect your delicate anal tissue. It just thins out way too much. For vaginal sex though, I highly recommend. Yes I want something a bit thicker but so far it’s the best vaginal lube I’ve found.

My Favorite Lube!

This is a clear, cushy gel that's thick enough to stay put but thin enough to feel natural. It has a very slight aloe-y scent, but it's so subtle that I can't smell it all the time. It has no taste.

Review Details: This is my favorite lube! It's great for intercourse and toy use, and good for external use. Like all water-based lubes it will dry out eventually (especially during external use), but I find that that doesn't happen too quickly. And when it does dry out, it doesn't get sticky or leave a residue and it revives very well with water.

I especially love pairing it with textured toys - it provides the cushion I prefer while still transmitting sensation. Plus, this lube has really gentle natural and organic ingredients that will keep any vag happy. Highly recommended. P.S. This is apparently the organic equivalent of Sliquid's water-based anal lube, Sassy.
