Smells Lovely
I’m not really one for bubble baths but I thought I’d at least give it a try for a test item and I was lucky enough to be selected. I’ve never heard of limoncello before so I was very curious to see what it would smell like when it arrived. One word: Exquisite. I can’t get enough of that sweet citrus scent. It reminds me of lemon/orange sherbet in a way. I’m glad I got this one as I prefer fruity scents to floral ones. The bottle looks very luxurious with that royal gold and purple colour scheme and it’s not a bad size either. Apart from the logo and brand name, I think the information on the label makes it discreet enough for you to leave it in the bathroom without people suspecting it’s from a sex toy site. You can twist the cap off completely or press down on the lip for a more precise application. Just pour some into a running bath and you’ll have foamy bubbles in no time. You don’t even have to use that much for a good amount of bubbles so it’s up to you to bubbly you want your bath to be. There’s nothing quite like soaking in a nice hot bath during these cold winter months and including this makes it all the more pleasant and relaxing. The bubbles even keep some of that lovely scent, too. I didn’t feel any skin irritation at all after shaving or around my intimate area at any point during my baths which was great. I personally don’t “play” in the bath but I think if you did you wouldn’t be sore or itchy afterwards. I don’t think it made me feel extra sexy or anything like that but just relaxed and content while having a good soak. This would be really nice to share with your partner if you have one of those big bathtubs to sit in together. Hmm… I’m not really getting the oily element of the product but it could just be my skin as it gets quite dry in winter so I still felt the need to moisturise afterwards. I’m impressed with my first Sliquid product and I’ll definitely be checking out their other stuff in the future after being so pleased with this lovely bubble bath.
A bath and a half
I bought this over a year ago and didn't think to do a review because I moved into a place with a smaller bathtub so bathtime was not as enjoyable as it used to be. From what I remember, the first few times I used this I didn't get many bubbles - this was due to the small amount I used. That's the thing I find with fancy bubble baths; I am more keen to stretch my money so I use a quarter of the amount I would use of a drug store bubble bath. After a while, I realised I wasn't getting the full benefit of the soak so I doubled the amount I was using. And bathtimes started to get more fun. The smell is pretty nice. It's not normally a scent I would go for but it smelt better than the cherry bubble bath. My skin felt good when I came out of the bath. I do have dry skin prone to allergies, but I felt fine after the wash. I love Sliquid massage oil so I was slightly disappointed that I didn't love the bubble bath as much. But I think it's good value for money and I can find no fault. If you like this scent and enjoy bubble baths I think it's an excellent product. If you're not too keen on either, I don't think you'll find anything particularly special about this.
