I absolutely adore this basque set. The fit was perfect, everything was so comfortable, and the whole outfit made me feel so sexy! My boyfriend loved it so much that he didn't even want me to take the main piece off during sex. It drove him absolutely crazy. Hot, hot, hot!

Pure luxury

We received this basque to test in return for us to provide a review, but where do I start. Upon removing from the standard clear packaging, you get a feel how good the materials are that have been used to create this beautiful looking basque. The red wine colour against the black lace looks stunning, and with the lace detailing on the cups and down the centre of the basque certainly gives it the sex appeal look. The criss-cross detailing in the cleavage area gives you a tempting view of your OH's assets, but definitely leaves you wanting more, which adds to the seductiveness. The cup area is then finished off with a bow and the Lovehoney charm. The basque itself fits comfortably due to the soft and stretchy material used and is easy to make adjustments if necessary by using the sliders on the shoulder straps and rear strap and do not easily loosen by themselves, so you feel very well supported without having the need to worry about readjusting throughout the time you are wearing it. It also hugs the body nicely and accentuates curves. The cut out on the back also gives the basque an added touch of class. To finish the set off it comes with a matching thong with the red wine and black lace detailing. This is a really comfortable piece of underwear and very well made, which takes the look to a whole new level. However, to really take it to another level and finish the look off, you could add a pair of your best stockings and utilise the use of the suspender straps. Overall, this is a very sexy set and would be worth every penny. There is nothing really negative to comment on as the whole set is made to Lovehoney's usual very high standards, feels very luxurious to wear and one of the best sets that the OH has ever had.

Absolutely stunning

The short version: this is my favourite piece of underwear. I am a 32DD and 5’3 so basques can sometimes be too long or just not quite right in proportions on the length but this was perfect. It would also fit taller women as it’s quite stretchy and would look just as good a bit shorter. It’s very easily adjusted and easy to get on. The straps have a lot of length to adjust and even the suspender straps have a bigger length than usual to adjust. The material is amazing quality and feels incredibly high quality, much better than Lovehoney’s usual material and that’s starting from a very high bar! The cups fit very well and the detail on the front looks even better on than in the pictures. When taking the basque out of the packaging it looked very dark and mostly black however when on it has plenty of colour. One of the best things about this set is the thong - it had great quality material, is super comfortable and has a good amount of material on the front. I definitely prefer this to some of the very skimpy things on other sets and it doesn’t make it look any less sexy. The only real negative is that it isn’t crotchless, I love the thong so much that it isn’t too much of a problem but it does make it more difficult to keep on all night! I would recommend it to anyone wanting a high-quality product. Maybe if you’re looking for something crotchless it wouldn’t be for you, but then you could always just lose the thong!

Absolutely gorgeous

We were kindly sent the Lovehoney Night Lily Basque Set for an honest review. Straight out of the bag the Night Lily Basque set looks amazing. It’s made up from two materials, a red wine coloured stretchy microfibre and black lace, which is beautifully entwined, creating a lovely soft to the touch sexy figure hugging garment. The bra portion of the Basque is overlaid with the sexy lace material, it’s not underwired; however, the combination of elasticated shoulder straps along with the over the bust criss-cross straps and the wide elasticated band running underneath the bust, which can be adjusted, work together well to give a nice comfortable and supported fit. It also features a matching black ribbon bow, and silver trademark Lovehoney heart charm in-between the cups, adding a little feminine touch. The body is made from the stretchy red microfibre material, which hugs the waist and highlights your curves, creating a soft feminine look; the centre has a panel of overlaid black lace running down it, which moulds to the body creating a flattering appearance and a slimmer waistline. It also comes with a beautiful matching lace and microfibre thong, which gives extra coverage and looks so much sexier and classier than the normal G-string, which are typically included in these types of sets. The basque also has four metal-tipped adjustable black suspender straps for use with your favourite pair of stockings. The suspender straps cannot be removed, however, to achieve the best fit and look. You really do need to wear a pair stockings with this garment to achieve maximum support and allow the hemline to caress your body. Overall, there’s nothing that we can really fault. The colour is gorgeous, and it looks beautiful. It fitted perfectly and was really comfortable and flattering to wear. We would highly recommend that you treat yourself to this one.

My first basque

The red of this is really striking and overall it's a lot more comfortable than you'd expect (and easy to get on and off too). The material seems fairly breathable too, as I think the red sections are a similar material to swimming costumes. It's really well made, really pretty and fits really well (even though I'm very small). It could probably pass as a vaguely gothic shirt actually if you would enjoy wearing it outside, with only you knowing what it really is. I'm not comfortable wearing the thong yet but it is also surprisingly pretty and very well made. Overall it's a beautiful piece that fits and flatters well, what more could you want from a basque.

Super sexy

Bought this for myself as a gift to my fella. Of course, I had to be the dom in this sexy little outfit, it did not disappoint. This is now my dom outfit. The material feels brilliant and sucks you in the right places. Doesn't give too much away, which is great. Can be a bit hard to do up at the back.

There were a few fitment issues and picking the right size was difficult based on the size chart, but it looks great and seems fairly well made.

I wanted to love it, I really did

The material on this is gorgeous and the colour.Unfortunately, I have no idea who they've made this for, but not for this size 28 lady... I have a long body, so this was far too short, and the "bra", well....if you've got small boobs, then you'll be ok. My extremely ample bosom just collapsed out of the sides. I just don't understand, Lovehoney, why you make items in larger sizes, but then don't take into account boobs!!Please make some items with bigger cups!!

Black and red is always win

This basque set is amazing - colour (red is very decent, and in combination with black - looks fantastic), the soft feel - very pleasant to touch. I have ordered 6-8 size and it is very true to size. In picture it looks like it has padding, but it’s not, so if you have very small boobs, like I do, there will be feeling of spare, but all in all - very sexy.

Comfy, great quality

If you're looking for something that boosts your confidence then this is a piece to look at. It was quick to put on, comfortable, a sexy feel and colour of material. I purchased the stocking to go with and they match perfectly! The clips are a little fidgety to hook the tights onto but due to little experience in the lingerie department I think that's why I found it somewhat frustrating. Great product!

I ordered a 3X/4X because I read the reviews and how the bust area doesn't fit well. I'm soooo glad I did go up on size. I normally wear a size 14 US and that translates to XL in most cases. I have a larger upper body and much smaller lower body, so my bust is normally 38 DDD. The bust on the 3X/4X was barely large enough. However because I'm smaller on my lower half the panties are ginormous. I think their sizing is for woman who are smaller up top and bigger at the bottom, which is not me.

This item should list what body shape it is best for. I have an hourglass shape with quite broad shoulders. I picked the S size, which should have fit by the size guide. The bottom did fit well, but the bust was as if several sizes too small (far too narrow for my chest). I can still make it fit, although a bit uncomfortable. But if you're buying this, please note, this fits for a pear or A shape body type. Image is slightly misleading.
