Maybe it's because I'm a sucker for couples overcoming odds so they can be together, or maybe it's the fact that my partner and I had to overcome plenty as well, but this story is my favourite in the trilogy. I love how the two of them grow and change as people, and how their relationship shifts accordingly. I won't give spoilers (although, who hasn't read it yet?! :) ). Go see for yourself.

This book, in my opinion, did not disappoint. After reading the first one, I thought that the books couldn't get any better, but I was wrong. This book was better than the last with all the raunchy scenes. The story line was great as well. BDSM becomes more appealing every time I read this book.

A good follow up

Ana's and Christian's passion is just so irresistible, you knew it couldn't just be one book! This second instalment in this sexy, erotic trilogy is just as delicious as the first. Evolving around the same characters in a continuous timeline, we follow the delicious lives as they intertwine with passion and emotion. There were some unexpected turns (which is always fantastic in a novel) and some resolutions to some of Ana's questions in the first book. You can really feel Ana's frustrations and struggles in this book. I read this immediately after the first one, just couldn't put it down! A great romantic novel, that has a true plot and story line with all the raunchy sexcapades.

Left me gagging for more

I didn't purchase mine from here but I decided to review it anyway. After reading and loving the first book I immediately purchased this one and the last one. I read this one in 2 days! This one I think was my favourite because the first one was more about them getting to know each other. This one is more about working out they need each other and how to manage that. Much like the first one, reading these changed my sex life definitely for the better! Same as the first one this one is often dragged back out to be read again and again.

Yummy

This book was not only raunchy and deliciously descriptive. It also had a back-story that made me want to read on and on. There is hardly ever two sexual parts that are the same. They're all different, meaning a varied amount of loving, passionate and downright kinky sex! I have read it over and over, and definitely will continue to, as will my numerous friends to whom I've leant it to. ;)

In the first book it was hard to understand just why Christian was so hooked on his semi-sadistic practices, but it became clearer, as Anastasia struggled to accept them because of her love for him and in spite of her naïveté.

The story continues, Anna's tormented barely getting through the days since she ran out on Christian finding his contract too much, she wants more, she craves and needs more. Christian is a step ahead and brings another proposition to Ana, this time she simply cannot refuse. Things get off to a great start between the two. And the sex gets going quickly in the second instalment and is consistent throughout, providing some good raunchy scenes. Their relationship is going great. But when things seem too good to be true they usually are. One of Christians ex sub's is on the prowl and shes not in her right mind, who knows what lengths she'll go to. As if the situation isn't more than enough to worry about, Ana's psycho ex boss is looking for revenge against Ana, Christian and even his family. What will come of the situations unfolding, theres two unhinged people looking for the in-love couple and Christian's family. Who will get hurt, injured, will everyone survive, will their relationship survive? This is a better read than the first installment, there's more action inside the bedroom and outside of it.

Yet again, the story line is pretty bad. Very repetitive and predictable. The sex scenes are similar to the first book but add some new elements. I read this book within a few hours. Pretty sexy but the overbearing possessivness doesn't do it for me. Not much character development and Anna's inner dialogue drove me mad!
