The Tiger stripes are very bold and prominent, whilst the back of the shaft is silky smooth. I turned it on and played around with the buttons to see what the different speeds and patterns would be like. They are all so different and amazing! With that being said, the vibrations can be somewhat loud. I left the toy on my bed while it was vibrating, turned my fan and tv on, and shut the door to my room to see if I could hear it and I couldn’t. So if you live in a shared house, I would recommended using this toy with some background noise and the door shut. As for the experience of using it - it did not disappoint! The ribbing on this toy is awesome and can be intense because of the draggy silicone, but I paired the toy with water-based lube and it was AMAZING!
