I was really nervous and excited about wearing this, especially about getting the right size. Luckily it fit really nice. The lace has a bit of a stretch to it and looks lovely. The G-string is simple but sexy. My partner loved everything about it. Definitely a good buy.

'Babydoll' isn't quite the right description as it doesn't tie at the front, but it is great as a one-piece negligee. It has a vintage 1920s feel to it, very elegant, and the lace pattern is pretty - ranging from opaque to almost transparent, all in the right places. The lace is soft and not at all scratchy. It is fitted through the soft cups and waist, and flares gently over the hips. It was short on me (I'm 5'8) but still covered my bottom. The look is understated but definitely sultry. I bought a size Small - my usual size - and was really surprised that it was too tight - I'm an 8-10 32A. Lovehoney promptly exchanged it for a Medium, which fits perfectly. This lovely, delicate piece has been a little overlooked, I think - if you come across it and you like the style, go for it! It would be perfect for a hot summer night at home or a romantic weekend away. It's unusual - in a very good way.

He couldn't resist

I ordered this dress in a large as I am a size 10-12 with a reasonably broad back and usually worry about things like this cutting in to me. I could have comfortably gone with the Medium I think, but as this babydoll is lovely and floaty it still fits beautifully and is so flattering! I couldn’t help but feel sexy with it on, and my boyfriend loved his extra birthday present (me in the dress)! I’ve had outfits like this rip straight away. The lace and mesh of this dress is well sewn and can definitely stand up to a bit of rough and tumble.

Sexy and flattering, well made

After reading other reviews, I was wondering about sizing accuracy. However, when the item arrived it fitted me perfectly. I am a size 42B and a 16 to 18 UK depending on cut. It is feminine and delicate, yet offers a nice level of support. Also it's great if you have insecurities about your tummy area as the beautiful design gives subtle yet good coverage. It is comfortable to wear and has the desired effect on a partner when worn. Overall, for me this is a ten out of ten item that I can't find fault with. I would recommend it to anyone, but agree it would struggle to look as good with a large cup size.

We decided to get this to add a little romance to our sex life though we don't just use it for that. It's made of soft lace. It didn't itch. There were no loose threads. It's not too long and just covers the butt. And it was the perfect size. It's our favourite for her to wear in the bedroom.

This is a very beautiful item, but it is VERY small in the bust. I’m a 14/16 and D cup and the large was way too small in the bust (and a touch small in the body). I really love the look and feel of it but after reading another review that found the XL wasn’t much larger I’ve decided not to exchange it and to return it instead. Such a shame. It’d be great for anyone with a B cup though.

The g-string is super simple and a bit cheap and small on me. The straps have a good level of adjustability, but loosen up quite easily.
