Lovehoney Harmony 2 in 1 Massage Lubricant 100ml

Hurray for massages

I do love a good massage. I’ll even make do with a bad massage, especially if it leads to more… So this new Harmony massage lube seemed like the perfect choice! If you are familiar with Lovehoney lubes, you will know what to expect. It is good quality and safe to use. It’s slick enough to enhance sex, but as it is water-based, I am not entirely sure how I feel about it during massages. It soaks into the skin quicker than I would like, so you can end up using pretty much the entire bottle in one go, which makes me sad. However, because it is water-based, I don’t have to worry about getting oil on the sheets and leaving marks, so that’s a bonus. Whatever you do, don’t scrimp! A bigger bottle may be a good idea. The scent is very clearly one of lube an not massage oil. So it’s not a great olfactory treat, but you can always light a scented candle to get in the mood, right? If you happen to get some of this lube in your mouth, it’s not the end of the world, but don’t expect a tasty treat. As sex lube it’s great, though. No matter if you use it for toys or with your partner, it will last and make sexy times as fun as they should be.

I was quite fascinated with the idea of both a lubricant and a massage oil, so I purchased this mostly with the intent of massage but also an experiment. The bottle is nice and simple and arrives as is. Once you open the cap I did notice a smell - which is strange because the other reviews say there isn't one. There is definitely a scent which is quite fruity and sweet. Once I realised this I tried a 'taste test' which wasn't as promising, but there is a slight sweet taste to it as well. Unfortunately for massage this lubricant was quite sticky and I think generally this is why oils perform a lot better. As a lubricant it was an okay experience, but I did find myself reapplying too. I think this this a little bit more work with its functionality as it's ticking too many boxes at the moment I think, but it is decent for the price!

Lube at it finest

Bought this a while ago due to price mainly, and I do love a good massage to help relax and get me ready for a night of sexual pleasure as this is what it always leads to for me... Firstly I wouldn't use this as just a massage gel as they're is way better massage oils/gels available, but for what this is intended for a slight rub then sexual activities to follow this bottle doesn't disappoint. Not much smell or taste to it, but works very well as a lube and takes sometime before any dryness. Have enjoyed many uses from the bottle and still got lots left. Definitely money's worthy!

Lovely 2 in 1 Massage Lubricant

Lovehoney kindly sent me this Harmony 2 in 1 massage lubricant in exchange for an honest review. Thank you, Lovehoney! First of all, the bottle is lovely and minimal. You could easily leave it out and, without looking too close, no one would suspect anything. It’s a great size for travelling and would easily fit in a bedside table. The lube itself has a light floral scent to it. This is rather pleasant for the massage element as it’s not overpowering. I love the 2 in 1 feature of this as it really lets you warm your whole body up before play, or just easily soothe areas you’d like to as you massage them. I did find that it went sticky as it began to dry after a couple minutes or so, and it means you have to reapply. A little does go a long way at first as it can cover large areas, but doesn’t last too long. This isn’t too much of an issue, but may mean that you use up the product quickly with regular use. However, it left my skin lovely and soft once it dried, which was a great bonus! As it is water-based, it is safe with all toy materials, which is really nice. This allows ease of use when also used for massaging since you have all you need in one bottle. It has a great thick consistency, and you can easily cover a whole toy with only a little bit of this lube. It does go much further for play than it does massaging, and I didn’t find myself reapplying after I initially did. Overall, the Lovehoney 2 in 1 Massage Lubricant is a great product for both individuals and couples. You might find yourself reapplying often when using it to massage, but it does last a while when playing. I definitely recommend this for people wanting to try a different lube with an extra added feature!

It was imperative for me to find an affordable item that was suitable to use for massage as well as a water-based lubricant. I didn't even know lovely had just released this! So I was very pleasantly surprised and ordered right away. I was even happier when it arrived, in great condition and super discreet packaging. I am very sensitive, so I did a patch test first and it was exactly what I had been hoping for. Slippery enough to use for massage and gentle enough to continue use as a lube. The scent is quite subtle as well, which is always a bonus for me. I'm super happy with this purchase and highly recommend!

It smells of coconut! Eeurgh!As expected, it's not great for massage as it becomes sticky too quickly so you need to keep reapplying. It is pretty good as a lube but not really 2 in 1 so you might as well just use a good lube.This is irrelevant to us because it smells of coconut and I really dislike coconut so we're unlikely to use it again!

It didn't glide over the skin all that well and just left me feeling a bit tacky.As a lube it works brilliantly. I didn't feel I had to add too much and being water based, it is safe to use with toys.I didn't notice a scent with this which has been noted in other reviews. I dont know that I'd buy this again as there are other separate products that work better and worth spending slightly more on.

I think the claim of 'longer lasting' is a bit of an over statement. This lubricant does a job, but doesn't last very long at all before it gets sticky. We tried to use it for massage, but were definitely looking for something more oily. On the plus side, it smelt quite nice!

Sticky sticky!!

Bought this as a massage and lube as wanted to start with an intimate massage and work the way up to full on hand job. However, after literally a few strokes it went dry and really sticky like wayyyy too grippy, felt like I could of ripped it off! ???? not what it’s advertised as at all so don’t waste your money!
