Lovehoney Plus Size Wild Desire Black Leopard Lace Bra Set

Such a disappointment

I’m a solid size 22 from three different UK shops. I’ve been buying size 22/24 items from Lovehoney (quite a few items to be honest!) for months now with very little issues. I’m ridiculously tall, so the length of objects present a problem. This outfit, looks fantastic. Those lace straps look like they’d be such fun! But. The sizing on this garment, is sadly inaccurate. I needed to add two bra extenders to get this bra to fasten. Not to mention, the knickers felt like I was a pig in a blanket with added rolls. Hilarious to think about, but truly not attractive! Disappointment.... just doesn’t describe my annoyance. Anyways. The inaccurate sizing aside, this is a quality product. The lace and sheer fabric feel amazing, and have that nice little give that us plus ladies love. Even though with bra extenders on makes this bra not as comfortable as it should be, I’m not returning it as I love it! There is a moderate amount of support, and I’ve C cup boobs, so there is a little bulge around the lace straps. This bra provides enough support to prevent my boobs from flopping all over the place when I’ve worn it under clothes and out on a date. The knickers... well I did try them on, but being what feels like 3 to 4 sizes too small... I have no comment on them! I’d strongly suggest adding this to your trunk of lingerie... but if you are on the larger sized, you might need to give this one a pass. From the number of extenders I needed to just get the bra to fasten, I think a size 18/20 would be a more accurate size guide rather than 18-24.

Purrrrfect set!

I have been loving all the new lingerie that Lovehoney have been bringing out recently so decided to go for this set. First things first, the lace is really great quality, there is no way your finger will poke a hole through this lace and the leopard patterned lace is just gorgeous. The Lovehoney have really paid attention to detail with this set! The knickers are perfect for accentuating my curves, they really fall perfectly into place against my curves. Now I want to try the hot pink!

Wild and Desirable

Item (as usual with Lovehoney) came quickly and discreetly. The bra set comes in clear packaging so if you’re giving as a gift I’d recommend buying a bag or box to present it in. On taking the bra set out of the packaging it felt very sensual and luxurious. My measurements are towards a he top end of the sizing but the bra fit me well as a 40G/H. The straps are fully adjustable and the bra fastens with three hook-and-eyes fastenings with 3 levels of adjustment. The cups held well but the added wide lace criss-cross straps helped contain my boobs. The support in the bra was something close to gravity-defying giving me a cleavage my husband was only to happy to lose himself in. The knickers are beautiful. Again luxurious sensual lace. Matching the bra they have a somewhat criss cross design and when I first took them from the packaging thought I would help to get Into them. This was not needed and I easily slipped them on. From the back they framed my bottom perfectly, I liked the double strapped with cutouts effect and they felt comfortable. Myself I was a little self conscious with how my stomach looked in them. I felt it drew attention to the worst part of my body. - I will say though remember I am at the top end of these sizes and my stomach is my bad area. Knowing how nice they look at the back I think they could look stunning from the front. Overall I really like the set, it’s something that could be wore on a evening out and revealed later. The set gave my husband a lot of desire. He had an instant reaction and found the set very sensual. This will definitely be something that comes out again though the jury is out on how long it will stay on!

Loving the leopard

This set is such a great twist on the standard little black lingerie set. The criss-cross detail is really cool, and I love the way the lace lands on the nipple, giving you a little extra coverage. The G-string is really on-trend, with its high-cut leg and cut-outs - super-flattering on the hips and thighs. It's super comfy, too, which I wasn't expecting! I like the exposed underwiring between the boobs, and the leopard print lace is a really sexy detail.

Jet Pink

Mrs Chimp is a size 14/36B, 5' 6" with a 32-inch waist and 39-inch hips and this set fit beautifully. It's really comfortable and stretchy, so even though it's One-Size it felt like it was made for Mrs Chimp. We think the colour is fantastic, and the criss-cross style on both the bra and pants is a very dynamic look. Both together give it a real vibrant and high-energy feel (I kept having heady visions of Jet from the 90s show Gladiators that I just couldn't/didn't want to shake). Mrs Chimp did have the bra on the last hook of the band, so we're not sure how well it'd fit someone with a wider back. And the cups are stretchy, with both underwire and a little side boning for support, but I don't think they'd be great for people with really large breasts. However, for Mrs Chimp it was a perfect fit. The pants sit really well too, with the strechiness providing a bit of shape for Mrs Chimp rather than digging in and making a trussed up meat joint out of her. She's normally a little wary of flesh poking out of cut-outs, but she didn't have to worry about these (big thumbs up). We don't think the back view is anywhere near as pretty as the front, but we really like the front view so we're still very happy. And Mrs Chimp thought they were very comfy, especially for a G string, and they have good muff coverage with the front triangle. She also really likes the scalloped detailing of the lace edges, and thought that was a nice touch. Overall, we think it's a very sexy and fun set that has a real active and energetic feel to it. ,

Beautiful but not on me

Stunning to look at and so fun. But I’m usually a size 18-20 and the bra just didn’t fit comfortably at all. I’d need an extender to wear it at a minimum. Which I thought was rather sad, since most of my Lovehoney purchases have been spot on. But the product is amazing quality and looks like it would be fantastic on the right body. :)
