Sexy and stunning

Ordered these as I really liked the look of them and also having felt amazing in the floral patterned stockings from the LH range as well I thought I’d give these a go! They paired great with my sexy outfit and I felt amazing in them! Must have for any dress-up drawer as they will go with most outfits.

Lace - Lace up and very Racey

Always an honour to offer my pins to test new stockings in return for an honest review. I was sent the plus size stockings for testing. I am currently a size 14/16 and stand 5'11" tall (but was previously an 18 hence the plus size). I carried on with the testing anyway and am delighted that I did. I have tried lace up effect stockings before and in all honesty was pretty disappointed. These, however, are in a different league. They are beautifully designed with, from the toe upwards, a very classy seam which reached to just below my knee, followed by a lovely bow detail followed further by the lace-up effect. The overall effect is truly stunning. The tops of the stockings are made up of a very comfortable, and perfectly wide band of lace which is very easily and securely attached to suspenders. To be honest, the tops were slightly loose on me but not so much so that they felt like they were going anywhere. The length was just about perfect on me, and for stockings that need to be perfectly lined up to ensure maximum impact, these were surprisingly easy to put on correctly. Sturdy enough to cope with some fairly rigorous testing yet sheer enough to be very pleasing to the eyes. All round winner for me.

Laced legs

I'm a size 18 and 5'9 and these stockings came up to about mid thigh. The lace up detail came down to mid calf. Even with my chunky thighs the lace tops didn't cut in at any point, so they were a good fit. When I originally got the stockings out they felt very delicate and they're quite thin compared to some stockings. However, I wore them all evening without any damage. The lace up detail was pretty,. However, it was quite obviously designed from the stocking and didn't give the impression they were actually laced up. The top of the detail was quite wide and so didn't give the "cinching" look a real lace up would. On the other hand, having the lace detail like this meant they were easy to wear without having to rearrange oneself too often. The lace at the top is strong enough to be used with all my suspender belts without ripping, and is very pretty and classy looking. Overall they're really pretty. The lace up detail is clearly a design feature, but it's a nice one. The stockings felt nice on and didn't immediately ladder. For anyone who wants some stockings that look slightly different they're a definite win.
