The egg itself and the remote are both rechargeable via a USB plug (I originally thought the remote had to have batteries so I’m so happy with this). Both wires come with the product and there is a cloth drawstring pouch bag to store them both in to prevent damage. So I charged it up, egg in one charger, remote in the other.
