A little too rough

I got the Woody because it is the same shape as the Vixen Mustang, which has a great head that can give me g-spot orgasms despite being very plushy and soft. Sometimes, though, I wish the Mustang were more solid and gave more pressure, so the Woody seemed like a great solution. Unfortunately, in the firmer silicone the texture of the head just feels too rough and irritates my vagina. Vixen's regular formula is softer than some other single-density silicones, but not soft enough to make up for the texture and shape of the head.

For the vibrating function, I did find the vibrator to be too buzzy, so I replaced it with a We-Vibe Tango. The Tango's long slim shape worked well - though adding some lube is always recommended - and the silicone transmitted the vibration well. Holding the dildo stationary while the vibrations were on felt great, I just wasn't able to thrust with abandon as I normally do.

I bought this to use as an attachment for a vac-u-lock system I already owned. For that purpose, it's excellent and works exactly as I hoped.

Love the red color and the overall shape and size are nice--a tad bit more girth would be great, but that's purely a personal preference, the toy is exactly as described.

My only qualm is that I prefer silky silicone over "sticky" silicone, and this is of the "sticky" variety which means lots of fuzz and hair sticks to it and it requires more attention to cleaning.

Quality toy, just higher maintenance for cleaning and storage.

Do not use the included vibe... or any vibe, maybe

I haven't been able to use this toy in action yet but already having difficulties. I'm a loyal customer of Vixen and this is my third and most inexpensive dildo by them, and texture and build doesn't disappoint. Unfortunately, the bullet vibrator definitely does - it's cheaply made and far too big for the hole in the dildo, and immediately got stuck upon inserting. To add to this, the vibe half-broke as I attempted to fish it out, making it useless for its intended purpose.

Now I have a dildo with a non-functional vibe inside that I have no idea how I'm going to get out or fix, other than in pieces. They need to make the hole bigger as my smaller vibrator got stuck inside as well. I don't think I know of a bullet vibe that'll fit comfortably as an alternative as the vixskin texture creates this suction that completely engulfs anything that gets sucked in there. I'll be taking a drill to this toy, much to my dismay, and hopefully it doesn't destroy the whole toy.

Texture and material construction: Vibrating Woody is made of Vixen's regular, single-density silicone, which is on the softer/squishier side, though not as soft as the squishy layer on their VixSkin dual-density toys. It's a bit softer than Tantus' standard silicone, and much softer than Fun Factory's silicone. It has a smooth, grabby surface texture with realistic detailing. Silicone is a great body-safe sex toy material as it is nonporous, non-toxic, boilable, bleachable, and dishwasher-able. The little bullet vibrator included with it is waterproof and made of body-safe ABS plastic, so it can be sanitized as well, but not boiled or put through the dishwasher due to its motor.

Review Details: This is just such a great shape and density for vaginal penetration. I'm not typically interested in real-penis-shaped dildos, but I make an exception for Vixen toys, and the beautiful bright-red swirly color helps make this one more visually attractive for me. It's firm enough for strong stimulation, but soft and flexible enough to move with my body and prevent discomfort.

The flared coronal ridge does delightful things to my vaginal entrance and g-spot, and the tapered tip helps make insertion easier. I do still have to warm up a lot first, as my vaginal opening is on the smaller side, but this is considered an average thickness, so most people probably won't need to warm up with other toys beforehand. The shaft is fairly slim just behind the head, then widens as it approaches the base. That base is nice and wide, perfect for grasping during solo use or for holding it firmly in a harness.

I view this as a vibrator-compatible dildo, rather than a vibrating dildo, as the basic little bullet vibrator included doesn't do much for me. It's decidedly buzzy, meaning the vibrating motions are very small, and the vibrations don't reach the further parts of the dildo well. However, paired with the Tango bullet vibrator by We-Vibe, the Woody EXCELS as a vibrating dildo. I can even use it as a clitoral vibrator that way, and have powerful orgasms.

In conclusion, the Woody is one of my favorite dildos, and even though the included vibe is near-worthless, it's definitely worth paying that little bit extra to get the vibe pocket in its base so you can use it with a better bullet.

Review Details: I bought Woody with the vibrator hole because I absolutely love Vixskin but I also prefer suction cup dildos, and the solid-based Vixskins don't stay attached to the wall if you're moving much at all. (Also, Vixen’s molds appeal to me more than those of Tantus or any other premium toy company, plus I find Vixen’s silicone more pleasing to squeeze than Tantus’s.) The best solution I could find was to pair single-density Vixen with a Tantus suction cup attachment. It turns out being a good thrusting dildo this way, with the lovely rounded head that so many Vixen molds feature. (The secondary, foreskin ridge is an added bonus.)

Personally, I would've preferred the shaft to be about a quarter inch thicker, but this size works well for me during less-horny times of the month. However, if you're just looking for a vibrating dildo, I'd definitely recommend putting a different bullet vibe in the hole, because the Screaming O one that comes with Woody only has one setting and is fairly buzzy (read: not effective). Putting it into the dildo helps mute the buzzy-ness, but still, I need a We-Vibe Tango to insert instead.

Also, I was confused that the vibrator that I received with my Woody doesn't have the string attached like the product description and picture claim it should; for this reason, I can't insert the vibe too far into the slot, because it's a very tight fit already. Anyhow, even with the partially inserted vibe, Woody still feels good being thrust against my clit, plus it doesn't kill my wrist when I thrust it manually like a larger dildo does (see Vixskin Maverick, which might end up giving me carpal tunnel syndrome). Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase, and I’m sure I’ll get lots of enjoyment out of it in the future.
