It's very smooth and hard enough... Maybe a little too hard. This thing is massively HUGE so be very careful. It's longer than 11 1/2 inches so it's pointing at 12 inches in length with the suction cup, the shaft is 10 1/2 inches long, but the balls only give it 9 1/2 insertable length. The shaft is 7 1/2 inches at it's thickest part & a bit thicker than 7 inches at its thinnest. It's simply too big for me, but I'm gonna keep it because it wasn't that expensive & it'll cost me more to ship it back anyway. I'll just have fun playing with this bad boy!
