I have never used anything else to pump, so don't take this as expert advice, just my experience as a beginner.

Quite a large cup, can take a few tries to get it sitting in the right position to be able to create suction.
I found I had to pump quite continuously to maintain a good amount of suction, but wasn't worried about it coming off as long as I maintained a suitable position.

Here's a hint: Maybe check what turns you on and what doesn't first, before buying and bashing a product that perfectly works not only as advertised, but for us. We've tried the conventional, cheap balloon-pump ones before, with very limited results. This one actually provides sufficient suction, which always takes a certain amount of time, to puff her up. Best thing is, it has a vibrator, right on the spot, so she doesn't get bored while the suction works. Great product!
