Durex Extra Safe Condoms 12 Pack

No tears

We've had a lot of condoms tear so we've just started buying these instead in the hopes it'll fix the problem. So far, we haven't had one tear, which is a good sign. They are a bit thicker though, which decreases sensation for me. She doesn't mind though, and actually, it helps me last longer

Good condoms

These condoms are very well made when compared to other brands. Whilst wearing them, you feel incredibly safe that they will not split or become damaged in any way. I have found that these are comfortable to wear and, as they are thick, do delay sensitivity, which is a blessing if you want to last longer in bed. The one drawback of them is that they do usually require additional lubrications as they can be quite dry externally, and on Lovehoney they can be expensive when compared to supermarkets when they are on offer.

I've got to say, as much as I dig LH, when my local well-known supermarket have them in they charge £12.55 for a pack of 30, 44 pence less for 18 extra condoms! I did get my pack off LH during a 20% off any 2 Durex products so all weren't lost. As for the product well they're called extra safe for a reason. Yes, they're a little bit thicker and many complain that they lose sensation (wouldn't that just make you last longer? It's not all that bad). Me personally compared to the thickness of normal condoms I feel no difference. I have tried an invisible or skin like a condom in comparison and yes then there's a difference in sensation but not the sort of peace of mind you get with these. Me and my ex, now a FWB, always use these when we get together as neither of us want any more children nor any surgical/medical procedure. In this case, STIs aren't a worry but they're out there and I'd be devastated to catch one. So that's why these are really my condom of choice. At least until I know any new partner well enough! They're brilliantly lubed. I have to point out that they're tough but not invincible. Yet out of the many times I've used these only 3 times has one broke and one was being after sex taking it off and it was at the top of the condom! They're a good fit too. Basically they're called Extra Safe because they are and you can still enjoy sex with a greater chance of no STI or an unwanted pregnancy. Oh and as for my ex now FWB she feels no difference in sensation, she just says I last a little longer and she also gets greater peace of mind. It's just a case of using your head and with these, you've got a better chance of real safe sex.

Peace of mind

We used these when we didn't have any other form of contraception and they were great due to their strength. They gave us peace of mind whilst we got to enjoy each other, the added lubricant was great and stopped the condom drying out, which is a great feature. Durex condoms are always easy to get on and off and our the most reliable brand in our minds.

Safe and comfortable

My boyfriend ordered these for us to use! We both felt so at ease using these condoms knowing they were extra safe, yet they were still pleasurable for the both of us as They were lubricated well. I would highly recommend these condoms! All in all a fantastic product. Will continue to order.

Extra Safe

These are my go-to condoms. They're reliable, easy to apply and well lubed so comfy for both me and my partner while wearing. The extra thickness gives a boosted confidence and peace of mind. I haven't felt any lack of sensation compared to a regular condom. A must-have in the bedroom.

These Durex Extra Safe Condoms are perfect for that extra peace of mind with your partner/s.My partner says he feels slightly less sensitive than when using Durex Thin Feel condoms due to these being slightly thicker, and prefers those himself, however neither of us have anything negative to say about these.The extra lube is fabulous, however I’d always suggest buying extra just for more comfortable sex, alongside reducing the risk of these ripping. I personally love the Lovehoney Delight Lube, but any water based lubricant will work too!Overall, I’d say that these condoms would be perfect for people new to sex and using protection due to the lower risk of rips, as well as anyone else who would like that extra piece of mind.

We often use these. They are strong enough to give piece of mind throughout sex- no nervous checking. Meaning that we both relax and enjoy ourselves! Obviously from a pleasure point of view, it will never be as good as without a condom, but that is the price you pay for a bit of extra security! Always recommend them.

So much peace of mind

As a woman who reacts badly to the contraceptive pill, my main concern was finding a condom that wouldn't split. This was why I was instantly drawn to these condoms. You can certainly feel the strength of them when putting them on, they are obviously thicker than other condoms which gives you great piece of mind during sex and allows you to just relax and enjoy the moment with who ever you are sharing it with. Just use lube of course just to be extra safe especially if you are like me and can't go on the pill for what ever reason.Sensation wise, I would say it's very obvious of course during sex that a condom is being used, some people prefer something more subtle feeling so that it feels more like the real thing. The main reason I buy these is for piece of mind not for the sensation it gives. Yet, then again having piece of mind can make it more enjoyable due to less worrying. Just bare that in mind. ;)

I came off contraception to try for a family and then was told that I was getting surgery so I bought these to keep me safe until after and they haven’t failed us yet. It’s obviously not nice to have to wear a condom with your husband but sometimes we must.
