I was really excited about receiving this order (2 bras and 1 pair of knickers) as it’s a great concept! The material is soft and light, and the fit was good (I’m a size 10 34B and ordered medium bras). However, I feel the finishing lets these designs down. The material is probably not suitable to stitch which is fine, but the way the straps and tops of the bras are cut and glued together makes them look cheap. There was also a spot of stray glue on the back of the knickers which I didn’t bother trying for size so the whole lot ended up going back.

I was lucky enough to be sent this bra by Lovehoney in exchange for an impartial review. Firstly, I want to say how incredibly comfortable this bra is! It’s the closest I have ever come to feeling like I have self-supporting boobs (the dream am I right?). The material is so soft and has just the right amount of stretch, and though it's a recycled man-made material it's not sweaty at all. The front fastening is both a pro and con for me. It's not adjustable like a back fastener would usually be, but it's nice not having to fiddle about at the back with the clasp after a long day. The split straps are a chic bit of detailing and it being the only overt piece of decoration means the overall look is sleek. Lastly, I love love love that it's 100% recycled!

I like to think I’m fairly environmentally aware and conscious of the decisions I make. However, I haven’t introduced those values into my underwear drawer or, to be honest, even considered it, so I was super excited to receive this bra and see just what I was missing out on. First thing to catch my eye was the packaging. It’s merely a zip-lock bag, but it’s recycled, is recyclable and is totally reusable. As it states on the packaging itself, it can be repurposed to carry just about anything small enough to fit in there. I’m going on holiday soon, so will put all my little bits like hairbands, clips and jewellery in there. Once I’m home, I’ll find another use for it! Cute, will last, and generally a great idea. Now the bra itself! For reference, I’m 5ft6, 36C, usually a size 10/12 on top. This bra came in a size 12, and is in the beautiful pastel-y blue colour. Unlike deep colours, it doesn’t sit too harshly against my pale skin. I put the bra on, closed it up at the front (I LOVE front closing bras and find them not only super useful and less hassle, but they have an element of sex appeal). I found the band to be a little tight, although not uncomfortably, and the straps which are adjustable sat with ease over my shoulders. I particularly like the double strap look even though it’s a really simple feature. The cups fit my boobs perfectly, and even though it doesn’t look to be the most secure of bras, I didn’t feel like it was going to slip at all. Because it’s not lined or padded, there’s definitely a bit of nipple-age going on, but that’s not something that bothers me. The material of the bra is incredibly lightweight and soft. In terms of underwear, it’s relatively delicate and requires a hand wash, but it has fantastic build quality and a good amount of stretch. This is a definite day-to-day bra for me, purely for its comfort factor. Nothing digs in and there’s no snaggy or itchy materials or labels. JoJoe has certainly opened my eyes to just how great recycled underwear can be, and I now hope to implement a more environmentally friendly approach to my clothing and underwear.

Gorgeous bra

The most comfortable, most flattering, softest bra I have ever owned. Perfect for loungewear and normal wear, plenty of support if you prefer the non-wired bras. Haven’t stopped wearing since it was delivered. Can’t wait for more colours and styles. Loved this colour so much and the matching pants completed the look, can easily mix and match the bra styles with the panties.

Eco sexy

I love this range so much. Sexy and good for the environment. What more could you want? The outer box was even more discreet than normal. No LH Trading on parcel even! On opening the box my bra and thong were packed in square reusable, recycled and recyclable ziplock bags. Such a great idea. The material is 100% recycled and is so smooth and light you just want to touch it. Couldn't wait to try on. The bra is perfect for my back size. I'm a 30E or 32DD, front fastening. The cups are a little small (bought a size small due to small frame) for me and my nips keep trying to make a brake for freedom but not a big deal. The straps are split and long enough for you to crisscross (see my photos uploaded). This prevents the girls escaping. I love this bra and love LH for doing a bit for the planet.

Didn't like

I was really excited to try this bra, it is a lovely blue colour, front fastening and came in a nice little reusable bag.I applaud the idea behind the bra but saying that I don't like it at all, it can't be stitched so the edge on the back is jagged and it supports nothing I love soft bralets and have a few I know they aren't supposed to hoist your boobs up around your neck or flatten them into pancakes but this bra does absolutely nothing all I did was walk (not run) down the stairs and my average sized boobs had jumped out I may aswell have not worn anything at all, I then spent the next hour trying to keep my boobs tucked in and adjusted the straps in a vein attempt to get control eventually I just gave up and took the thing off!

Great concept, cups aren't big enough

The bra itself is very soft and stretchy, understated and seems perfect for everyday wear. The front close is amazing, I don't have to contort and dislocate my armsBut, I'm a size 34DD and the cups are not big enough. Unfortunately no amout of adjustment and stretching will help. The band is perfect but there isn't enough material on the cups for me. I would love to wear it since it is so soft but I fell out of it as soon as I raised my arms to put a shirt on. This would be amazing if they offered different cup sizes.That being said, I did order it knowing there was a high chance it would fit my boobs so I can't shift all the blame!
